Monitoring

Kithosting’s standard package provides tools for observing services. These services includes:

• Collection of logs
• Collection of monitoring data

The tooling is support by widely used technology:

• Grafana (design dashboards with data collected from Prometheus an Loki)
• Prometheus (Timeseries database that holds monitoring data)
• Loki (log aggregation system inspired by Prometheus)

Grafana is the overall dashboading functionality. Grafana can create dashboards from multiple datasources. Kithosting uses to types of datasources Loki and Promtheus.
